Summer is here and we are going to enjoy every last second! We hope you all are doing the same.
Gettin' psyched and gaining focus.
Josh got his new tattoo. It is his family crest. He opted though to not put in the sword and shield, but to represent himself with a guitar instead. It stems down into a tree trunk with roots (family).
It took a total of six hours to complete.
The final product.
Kick ass, huh?
This is Aason, our friend's kid. He is quite possibly the coolest six year old on the planet and he loves hanging out with Josh. Here they are writing songs and drawing silly pictures of one another. Don't worry. Aason only had two of the beers :)

Josh says that our kids will laugh at what a huge dork I am if they ever see this picture. I look like an unmatching hippy biker police chick and none of those things go together. But hey, that's just how I roll.
Yah for Ashland! They find any reason to get out in the streets and make a day of partying.
This is the begining of what errupted into a huge drum circle.
The crater was created by a volcanic implosion which caused the surrounding mountains to fall and push into one another. The runoff of snow and other elements created the lake.

Nadia and I, literally, sliding down on our butts. It was impossible to walk without falling because of the steepness and the rocks.
CRATER LAKE NATIONAL PARK
We hiked up to the highest point in the park and the view was breathtaking. Pictures just don't suffice. The lake was so peaceful and serene. A great place for meditation and reflection.

Looks like you kids are having absolutely too much fun, and in such a beautiful place. Was talking to your Dad this morning and wanted to check up on you. We will continue to look forward to more pictures and updates on you and Josh.
