********Ground Fall '07********Ashland OR

It is a pleasant thing to reflect upon, and furnishes a complete answer to those who contend for the gradual degeneration of the human species, that every baby born into the world is a finer one than the last. -Charles Dickens

The fall time is among us and for those of you on the east coast we envy the beauty coming to you. We are amonst what I like to call the muster season. The mountains and the land are covered with the shade of grey poupon. Rain is yet in the forecast although shade is more abundant under the wistful clouds. Sara and I keep up hope that rain will fall soon. Unfortunately, when the heavens weep in Oregon the falling tears do not stop for months.

We recently moved to Ashland after out near 1 year stay in Talent. Sara, Scout, River and I love the new place.
I want to give a shout out to Gabe and Will who will be joining us next month in O-country. Special love to Aunt JOH-JOH who visited us last weekend. We love all of you and if you read this before 9-13-07 we will see soon in North Carolina or Tennessee. For those reading after 9-20-07 we had a blast. Big love to everybody and come to Oregon!!
